The weather is absolutely gorgeous in San Francisco right now, yesterday I was able to go through my old neighborhood and was amazed at all the entreprenuers in the hood.  You had one guy up the hill in the parking lot selling beer out of a cooler (saves you the walk down the hill) and then I met a lady who was cooking out of her apartment and selling plates!  The candy house has evolved into a full fledge store that is selling beers and cigaretts, talk about entreprenuers! 

I am so glad to see that spirit is alive and people are no longer waiting for someone or something to do something for them.  The director of the community center took me up to the park to show me the brand new baseball diamond they are putting in, i was shocked and amazed, the field is going to be really nice and I told him my boys would have to be the first to break it in.  Reviving baseball in the inner cities is a big thing right now, I know it is over in Oakland and I am going to make it a big thing in San Francisco! 

I spoke to the director about organizing softball tournaments and games, the recreation center right next to the new field has a full kitchen so a snack bar is going to be booming too.  Once i heard about the snack bar my mind went right to Verve.  I am going to see if i can put a Verve banner along the outfield fence.

My brother in Tennessee is on my mind and I need to call him, I haven't spoken to him in about a week and we usually talk everyday, I understand he is busy with his businesses but I do need to check on him.  Speaking of Tennessee my younger sister wants to go to homecoming this year!  I must do everything I can to make that happen, I really want her to experience a HBCU homecoming!

I just saw that Vemma released a new beverage called Remix at convention!  I really need to make one of those conventions, they look like a lot of fun, maybe then I could meet my upline who happens to be from the far east!!!

Well I am going to close now, I could write all day with everything going on, from Donald Sterling to my friend at work being sick.  Writing this blog is good therapy for me and i suggest others try it.  I have been encouraging my sister to start writing one since she has so much time on her hands and I really believe people would be interested in what she writes.  I will keep working on her and when she starts writing her blog I will let you guys know the address.
