Wow what a beautiful day it is today in San Francisco.  I must say my day did not start off so beautiful.  I woke up early this morning and decided to get my workout in.  I usually work out consistenly 3-4 days a week.  I run two miles then come back and do my ab work on a elevated ab bench and then do my weight work on the bench.  For the past 6 weeks I have not been consistent on my workout and it showed today.  I run with a sauna suit on to accelerate the process and today it was really tough.  I really need some new running shoes and may go get some today at lunch.  I did a little ab work and a little weight work, but I have a long way to go.  Playing basketball is what motivates me to work out and I havent been playing a lot lately, so I am going to have to start playing more.  I probably need to order me some Verve shots and take one before my workout, but I usually drink a Verve around 10am and dont want to be full of that much caffeine.

I'm sitting here waiting for this Verve to thaw out, I look forward to drinking my Verve in the morning, it is turning into a highlight of my day! 

My GodSon is graduating in Tennessee soon and I really wanted to go.  He is the epitome of what you want a young man to be.  Smart, Athletic, Respectful and God Fearing!  Kevin Duane Scott Jr. we are very proud of you!  I always tease my boys that he has set the bar extremely high and they have to reach that bar or take it higher.  The kids really are impressed with KJ and look up to him.  We really got to get to Nashville soon, the kids love it there.  CJ said to me last night that the next time he is in Nashville he has to get a haircut!!!

TSU just released the 2014 football schedule and I see FAMU is the Homecoming Opponent.  My younger sister wants to go to homecoming this year and I think it would be good for her, she has never experienced a HBC and with my niece in high school seeing that would be good for them.

Well this Verve is just about thawed out, and I am now ready to get my day started!
